In addition to being an artist, I am a certified architectural color consultant, choosing color and paint palettes for both interior and exterior residential and commercial spaces. For more information about my home color consulting, please go to: www.secondstageinteriors.com.
All aspects of home decor, from wall paint colors to pivotal wall art has been my focus for many years. As a result, I developed an unusual skill set that often led me to redesign home objects, spaces and walls. Temporary Kitchen Fix:
This home was facing a major renovation a few years down the line but immediately, the very old stove needed to be removed and replaced with a stove top that was cleaner and more functional. So, this stove top and cabinet were added butt up against the original granite counter (behind in the photo). To install the new stove top, the cabinet was set in and bare plywood was put in the top to position the stove top securely. I then faux painted that plywood (the area around the stove top itself) to match the the original granite counter.
